True to its commitment to the economic and social development of its community, Geoalcali, through its Foundation, participates in the VIII Edition of the Impulso Emprendedor program, organized by the CEIN (European Center for Business and Innovation in Navarra).
The Vice President and Counselor for Economic Development of the Government of Navarra, Manu Ayerdi, the director-manager of Sodena, Pilar Irigoien, and Ricardo Pérez Merino, on behalf of the Geoalcali Foundation participated in the presentation of the program, as well as representatives of other companies who collaborate in the initiative.
This comprehensive acceleration program for the development and implementation of innovative business initiatives promoted by the Government of Navarra is open to entrepreneurs from any background who have an innovative project with growth potential who want to make it happen in our community.
The CEIN is a public non-profit company dependent on the Vice Presidency for Economic Development of the Government of Navarra whose objective is to promote the economic development of Navarra by stimulating the entrepreneurial spirit and supporting the creation of new companies.
For a few months, “Impulso Emprendedor” provides entrepreneurs with a specific acceleration program, provided by CEIN, to develop and contrast their business model, in order to create new viable companies in our community. At the same time, they receive mentoring from the collaborating companies, which provide them with their business vision, experience and knowledge throughout all these months.
By joining this initiative, Geoalcali contributes to strengthening the business fabric of the region in parallel to its own activity as a company of potash extraction, in order to create entrepreneurial environments that are independent of mining activity.
In addition, for the company, this is a new opportunity to show its determined commitment to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations, thus materializing the objectives aimed at economic development and the generation of decent employment (8), by promotion of sustainable cities and communities (11) and the creation of alliances to achieve common objectives (17).
