The Palace of Exhibitions and Congresses of Seville hosts once again a new edition of the ‘Mining and Minerals Hall’, the International Mining Exhibition, a meeting that brings together more than 150 mining companies in Seville to discuss the future main challenges facing the sector.
Once again, Geoalcali actively participated in this international event. Shelia Maqueda, technical engineer of mines, presented the Design and Planning of the Muga Mine, within the technical days organized by Cominroc, in a seminar entitled “Overview of the industrial minerals sector”. While, the Director of institutional Relations of Geoalcali, Ricardo Pérez Merino, intervened as a speaker at a roundtable dedicated to mining and investment policies to discuss the social aspects of the project.
The MMH brings together more than 800 congressmen, about 150 exhibitors, 70 speakers in the scientific program and twelve commercial presentations, in order to reunite “one hundred percent of the Spanish mining sector and a large number of international companies and investors”, according to the organization. In addition, some 6,000 people have registered as visitors to this event, in which 63 business meetings and 50 meetings will be held, and that will generate an economic impact for the city of Seville that can exceed five million euros, according to the forecasts of the organization.
